Speaking practice
The main change was a revised speaking flow. Learners could start a voice conversation, practise a situation, and receive pronunciation and grammar feedback without arranging a call with another person.
Text input
Text input added a quieter way to practise. It was intended for spelling, sentence building, and moments when speaking aloud was inconvenient. Voice remained the better choice when the goal was pronunciation or conversational timing.
Memory and conversation history
Memory was separated by learning language so that work in one language did not crowd out another. Past conversations also became available for review. Progress features were still being developed at the time of the announcement.
Flashcards
Learners could save a word from speaking practice as a flashcard. This connected vocabulary review to a sentence they had actually tried to say, instead of treating it as an isolated list.
A useful five-minute test
Open ChickyTutor, choose your target language, and ask for a roleplay you are likely to need this week. Speak for two minutes, choose one correction, then repeat the same exchange. That small loop is the clearest way to judge whether the product fits your routine.
